In Zambia, even bright and dedicated students with a history of serving their local church can have a tough time finding funds for a college education. Joshua Mwambela interviews one of these, Miriam Mwewa, who is interested in Nursing.
Tuition for government Nursing schools is $400 to $500 per semester. Private Nursing schools are $600 to $700 per semester. An additional $150 is expected for final year students as a hospital practicum fee. Application to any school in Zambia is $15.
